travel all over the countryside (2)

i blogged this title on evilmonika, about vws travel all over the countryside (1)

but memories of the leylands justify its continued use

saw this car bonnet in the middle of exhibition street some time ago, and i love it!

hee hee

had this idea, if we ever get a bus or a 4wd and travel all over the countryside ourselves, or around australia, we could call the vehicle van der hum... get it, van der hum.

probably thought of this because the jvg radio method had the wandering theme last sunday and they played that dumb valderee song (the happy wanderer?)

van der hum winning the 1976 melbourne cup

i loved the name van der hum when i was seven - it sounded mysterious to me.
